We believe in honest scope
Packages are a starting framework. Here's what sits outside the standard tiers and how to add it.
Nursing Oversight (Essential tier)
The Essential package does not include NCK nurse assessments or skilled procedures. If your loved one needs nursing oversight, upgrade to Total Transition Care or add a skilled nursing visit as a top-up.
Equipment Rental (Essential tier)
Equipment delivery and setup is included in Recovery Plus and Total Transition Care. For Essential-tier clients, equipment can be added as a separate line item — we'll recommend exactly what's needed after the assessment.
Specialist Physiotherapy or OT
We coordinate and escort for physiotherapy and occupational therapy appointments, but the therapy itself is provided by the referring specialist team. We support attendance and implementation of their plan at home.
Pharmacy Costs
Medication and consumables (dressings, gloves, etc.) are not included in package pricing. We can help source and coordinate, but the costs are passed through to the family directly.
Live-In 24-Hour Care
Standard packages cover scheduled visits. Round-the-clock live-in care is available as a custom arrangement — speak to our coordinator to discuss what that looks like and costs for your situation.
Palliative-Specific Add-Ons
Bereavement counselling and spiritual care referrals are not included in standard packages but can be coordinated through our network. Talk to us — we'll connect you with the right support.
Frequently asked about care packages
How is pricing determined? Are there fixed monthly fees?
We don't publish fixed prices because every family's situation is different — the level of care, visit frequency, duration, and any specialist requirements all affect cost. After a free assessment, we provide a clear, itemised quote with no hidden fees. We don't charge for the assessment itself.
Are there contracts or minimum care periods?
We work on flexible arrangements. There is no long minimum contract for standard care packages — we understand that recovery timelines are unpredictable. For extended care plans, we discuss a short notice period so we can transition the care plan smoothly. We'll be clear about this at the outset.
Can I cancel or pause care if something changes?
Yes. We understand that circumstances change — a hospitalisation, a family member arriving to help, or a client who recovers faster than expected. We ask for reasonable notice (usually 48 hours for short-term changes, one week for plan cancellation) and we work with families to transition smoothly.
Can equipment be added to the Essential Recovery tier?
Absolutely. Equipment rental is a modular add-on that can be attached to any care tier. We'll assess what's needed, source the right items, deliver, set up, and train the family — all as a separate line item on the same care plan.
What if my loved one's needs increase and we need to move to a higher tier?
We review care plans regularly and proactively. If a client's needs increase — a wound becomes complex, the medical situation changes, or more hours are needed — we discuss upgrading the plan. There's no penalty for changing tiers, and the transition is managed without disrupting the existing care relationship.
Not sure which tier is right?
That's what the free assessment is for. We'll review your loved one's situation, explain which package makes sense, and build a plan that fits — with no obligation to commit.
